The most successful Maltese musical of the 21st century is BACK! It-twerżiqa! Yes, the smash-hit musical Il-Kbir Għadu Ġej will finally rock stage again, bigger and better than ever.  The hilarious show, based on the music of Freddie Portelli and penned by Malcolm Galea, will feature most of the original cast. Kevin Borg will be leading the cast again as 'Il-Kredu', rocking and rolling with the likes of Amber as 'Lourdes', Davide Tucci as 'Toni tagħna', Marilena as ‘Georgette’, Luke Dalli and Max Dingli as 'Il-Bum u l-Bumme', Colin Fitz as ‘Kurun', Mark Tonna as ‘Alfred', Debbie Scerri as ‘Zija Pawlina’, Michela Galea as ‘Yvette', Petra as Sylvia and many others. Il-Kbir Għadu Ġej is brimmed with over 25 of Freddie Portelli most known hits like Ħallini, Viva Malta, Flimkien, Xewqat Sbieħ, Se Jkolli Nemmen, Għal Dejjem but it will also lesser known jewels like Bħalek hawn kemm trid, Ma taħraqni B’xejn and Dak ir-Rock n’ Roll. It will run at the Republic Hall at the Mediterranean Conference Centre during late July and August 2022. The venue will be fully air-conditioned. The project is supported by Arts Council Malta, Kinnie, and Visit Malta. The musical is produced by Balzunetta Productions. We all promise you the best night out this summer! Rock and Roll!
